Workshop AI – MADI / IUAV Venice 2025
As part of the Master in Digital Architecture (MADI) at IUAV Venice, Ulises Studio conducted a two-day intensive workshop exploring the creative potential of artificial intelligence in image and video generation. The session was led by Ricardo Orts—architect, educator, and founder of Ulises Studio—who guided students through the latest AI-driven tools shaping visual storytelling and digital design.

The first day focused on foundational knowledge: an 8-hour immersive session blending theory and hands-on exercises. Students learned to generate, refine, and manipulate AI-created images and videos, gaining a deep understanding of how these tools can be integrated into architectural and visual workflows.

On the second day, the workshop shifted into full creative mode. Participants applied their skills to produce short films, using AI tools under Ricardo’s direction. Beyond the technical aspects, the emphasis was on creative direction—exploring how to craft compelling narratives and unique aesthetics through a fusion of human vision and machine intelligence.

The Workshop AI offered students not only practical expertise but also a fresh perspective on authorship, imagination, and the evolving language of digital architecture.
